Suffix--wise VS in terms of

The suffix 'wise' can be attached to a noun to specify what you are talking about within a larger context...I think Emotion: smile

Can we attach it to just about any noun?

We are doing a great job; however, time-wise we are doing poorly.

I'm feeling great. Health-wise I could be better.

I'm quite happy here. Hunger-wise I could do with some satisfying.

Is it synonymous with 'in terms of'?

We are doing a great job; however, in terms of time, we are doing poorly.

Thanks

You can attach it to most any noun, yes-- but it is always casual and cliché. Not an admirable technique.
