Suffer

Do these sentences make sense (and does it sound natural):

a) "Do you suffer from your legs?"

b) "Do you suffer from your heart?"

Note: By this, I mean if someone has problems in their legs (such as recent or old injuries) or in their heart?

They are understandable, but (as an American) I have never heard them. Maybe they are used elsewhere. I am more familiar with a different way of expressing those ideas.
