Suddenly I got confused... Help me pls

Someone asked me about forming adverbs from adjectives. Here are some examples :

She softly whispers to me.

She whispers softly to me.

I quickly run away.

I run away quickly.

So... Is there any differences between putting adjectives before verbs and after verbs?

My theory was the first sentences in each example show about verb / showing something is being done and the second ones show about statement on how the verb is done.

Am I wrong? Can someone tell me? Thanks

No, there is no difference in meaning. Adverb placement has more to do with intended stress; in your examples, however, there is not even significant difference in that quality.

Yes, those are all fine, and all mean the same.

Adverbials appear primarily ( a) before the subject, ( b ) immediately before the main verb, or ( c ) after the verb.

Softly she whispered to me. ( a )
She softly whispered to me. ( b )
She whispered softly to me. ( c )
She whispered to me softly. ( c )
