This letter refers to a headline in today's news paper "THE HINDU"
17,368 farm suicides in 2009
It is very pathetic and shocking to read such worst news about the country's poor people who are the main resource of our commodities and livelihood.
specially in a country that claims to be the second fastest growing countries among all the nations. This is the real face of our country although our government is trying to hide this worst face as we had witnessed during the C.W.G. 2010.
However this is one side of coin. We will have to accept this fact. A large number of farmers are losing their lives and percent is increasing continuously every year as per this data.
While on the other hand there is a huge bulk of corrupt officials in today's governmental system. No need to bring an explanation. But the government is not so sincere to crush the corruption. It is not taking the actual action against the culprits . Weather it is too late or they are moving around freely without having any fear.
If the condition would be remain for a long time and government would not be kindly serious regarding this burning issue, these people would wake up and bring a revolution and snatch their rights at any cost as the history of human being is a big witness".
