Subtle Difference: Are vs. Have Been

Hello,

I've read from another post in this forum about the following sentences.

My past accomplishments are the result of my hard work.
My past accomplishments have been the result of my hard work.

The teacher in the post said both sentences are correct and are all possible views of the speaker at the moment of speaking and the difference is not noticeable. I wonder what the subtle difference is between 'are' and 'have been' with regard to how the speaker is viewing the accomplishments at the moment of speaking. Please advise. Thanks.

Thanks Philip for your response.

Do you think 'are' and 'have been' in the given context can be used interchangeably without changing the meaning or view of the speaker at all?

What is the speaker's view at the moment of speaking with 'are', anyway?
Also, what is the speaker's view at the moment of speaking with 'have been'?
