This is a conversation between wanda and vision in the movie called avengers infinity war. And there are certain words they have used which I didn't understand so I request you to please explain those properly I'll state the whole conversation and put those words in the bracket which I didn't able to get properly.

Wanda - So there's a 10 am to glasgow. Which would give us more time together before you (went) back.

Vision - what if I miss that train.

Wanda - There's an 11 am.

Vision - what if I (missed) all the trains? What if this time I (didn't) go back.

In 1st bracket wanda said "went" instead of "go". In 2nd bracket vision said "missed" instead of "miss" and in 3rd bracket "didn't" instead of "don't" please explain the situation when we use past form of those standing on and talking about present situation.

In your example all three instances of the past tense where the present or future might be expected are cases of showing that the speaker is thinking of the situation as hypothetical, i.e., conjectural, speculative.
