My symphony has an annual series of concerts to which one can subscribe (usually at a nice discount). It includes one concert each of 10 months. It also has non-subscription concerts for which one must pay extra to attend (New Years Eve presentation of Beethoven's 9th symphony, Valentine's Day presentation of Straus waltzes, etc.).
