Hi,

"I subscribed to a magazine. " is an example of how to use the word "subscribe".

Can I also use it like this? "I subscribed to a gym club."

It's more usual to say 'I joined a gym/I enrolled at a gym club/I took out membership of a gym'. Though you have to pay annual or monthly membership subscriptions. Rover
