Subordinators

Could you tell me what "no sooner than .....than, when" means? And how to classify correlative subordinators?

than, when" doesn't seem right. You are probably thinking of something slightly different, possibly "no sooner had/was ... " or "no sooner do ...

  • than, when" doesn't seem right.

No, I don't. I just see it in " a student's grammar of the English Language" book. I have to give an example for each correlative subordinators for my exercise, but i don't understand what does it mean.
