Subordinate Conjunctions? Is this sentence okay?

Although this is the third visit of a UN Secretary General to North Korea, following previous visits taken by Secretary General Kurt Waldheim in 1979 and Secretary General Boutros Ghali in 1993, expectations are high since this will be the first visit from a Korean Secretary General.

Can you help me see whats wrong with the grammar of this sentence?
