Submittance vs submission

Hi,

what's the correct version, please?

Is it 'submittance' or 'submission'? Does the first one even exist? Cause I haven't seen it a lot. If so, do they mean the same?

Thank you in advance

Are there any other dictionary/thesaurus sites that contain the word submittance? Merriam-Webster does seem to agree that it is a word, but viewing the definition demands activation of a trial (which would likely be followed by payment,) and the thesaurus does not contain any synonyms or antonyms.

"More common" not "commoner,"
