Subliminal vs. subconscious

Hello, I'm wondering if they mean the same thing? thanks.

My understanding is that, basically, the phenomenon is subliminal while your perception of it is subconscious . I won't deny that you may find them used synonymously, however.

My understanding is that, basically, the phenomenon is subliminal while your perception of it is subconscious. I won't deny that you may find them used synonymously, however.

For me, there are some little differences. See:

1) Do you remember Freud? In Freud conception we are 'made' of three parts: conscious, preconscious and subconscious (unconscious would be better). Or in other words, subconscious is the part that don't reach the conscious.
In this case, 'Subliminal' can't be used.

2) There are 'subliminal messages', but I never heard about 'S
