Subjunctive Mood: unreal future and I thought
Hi everyone,
I am very confused with subjunctive mood, say I want to take out private health insurance, so I want to make sure it will cover my injury from the beginning to the end. But in fact, it only covers up to a certain period of time, not until I fully recover. Can I say:
"I thought this level of cover were to cover me until I fully recovered!"
The cover, in fact, does not and will not cover until I fully recovered. Do I use "I thought?" and "were to"??
