Subjunctive mood

we heard it yesterday, if we could only get onto the homepage of Google, if we could only figure out how to get promoted there, if we could only figure out how to grab that person by the throat, and tell them about what we want to do.

Could you tell me whether the above sentence has the same meaning as the following one?
Please correct the following sentence if there is any error, even tough the meaning is almost the same as the above one.
Thank you.

It is not available any longer since we can get onto the homepage of Goodle and figure out how to get promoted there, how to grab that person by the throat and tell tem about what we want to do.

Hi, lucas21c W e heard it yesterday, if we could only get onto the homepage of Google, if we could only figure out how to get promoted there, if we could only figure out how to grab that person by the throat, and tell them about what we want to do. I wouldn't bother with this so-called sentence. It's awkward and unclear.
