subjunctive

Hi, is it ok to say: I can hardly find anyone who write like she did?

Is the verb "write" ok in the subjunctive rather than in the indicative?

Thanks

The sentence states a fact, so the verb is in the indicative mood. I can hardly find anyone who can write like she did.

thanks! is it necessary to say "can"?

No, you can say "who writes."

But the subjunctive plays no role in your sentence.

oh, ok...and one last question. How do I know whether the subjunctive is required?

When something isn't true (If I were the supreme ruler of the universe), when you have a wish (I wish he weren't so mean to me) or when you have an order/suggestion (I demand he leave at once)
