Subjunctive?
0 Please tell me if this is the subjuctive mood in action. I thought the subjunctive of this nature usually have some informal attributes in front of them like 'I demand' or 'I ask you' and others. 02 br

I agree that those sentences were awkward in terms of their structure. I felt some awkwardness when I was writing them but I felt they sound more literary and seem to add more pizzazz that I wanted at that time.
Could they be better written like this?
