Subjuctive mood

Hello everyone,

I'm wondering whether the sentence underlined is subjuntiv mood or not.
If it is so, what type is it, present or past form?
If it is not, why is that?

This is somwhat difficult for me to figure out.. so if you have any idea about this, would you explain some here for me.
Your comments will be a great help.

Thanks a lot~

M: Aren’t you glad I brought you here today?

W: Yeah, it is really a lot of fun to see this in person.

M: Totally. It’s so much better than watching this or something similar on TV.

W: You’re right. Doing that can be pretty boring.

M: And to think that you insisted on going to the movies today instead.

W: Hey, I’m sorry about that. But I thought it would be fun if we could just catch a film and then go to the mall afterwards.

Pb03 But I thought it would be fun if we could just catch a film and then go to the mall afterwards. Nothing subjunctive here. This is just the past tense version of: I think it will be fun if we can just catch a film and then go to the mall afterwards.
