Subject- Verb Agreement Question

I would like some help or feedback as to whether my answers to these exercise questions are correct or if I am on the right track. I've included my answers below. Thanks for your help!

- Determine in the following questions which sentence shows correct subject and verb agreement.

1)

(a) Although they were all born under the same sign, each of the 3 sisters has a distinct personality.

(b) Each of the items in this collection of antique silverware are going to be auctioned separately.

---> My answer is (a) since " Each of" shows a singular subject.

2)

(a) Sam is one of those team members who want to get together for lunch.

(b) Nick is one of those class members who wants to go out for lunch.

---> My answer is (b)

3)

(a) Three cabinet ministers as well as the president were present.

(b) The minister as well as her cabinets were at the meeting.

---> My answer is (b) because the plural subjects is closer to the verb.

4)

(a) Not 10 dollars, not 5 dollars but 2 dollars buy this amazing tool.

(b) Not 1, nor 2 but 3 tomatoes were attached to the vine.

---> My answer is (b) because plural subject is closer to the verb.

5)

(a) The committee members was all satisfied with the results.

(b) The committee was engaged in debate for several hours

---> My answer is (b) because committee is considered singular

6)

(a) Another month of waiting for our salary, after the years of wage freezes we've endured, really doesn't matter very much.

(b) A few cakes and 3 batches of bread was all he could bake before the oven broke.

----> My answer is (a)

7)

(a) One of the key members of the student group are going to be addessing the association.

(b) The representative whom we visited earlier is one of the key members of the association.
