Subject-Verb Agreement

I have a question about the sentence below:

My favorite types of fruit are apple, strawberry, and banana.

I am talking about fruits above, and I want to know if I am correct in using the singular form of the individual types of fruit above, or should I use the plural: strawberries, apples, bananas? Please let me know.
