Subject repetition? Grammar doubt

Hello, could you help me please?

Someone wrote: "We draw dragons to put them in the Dragon Club, that is a book that Mary did"

Many questions within the same sentence:

I would say We draw dragons to be put/places into the Dragon club, which is a book that Mary created"

But are these wrong in the original sentence?

1) dragons to put them (I think so, and you?)

2) in (instead of into) I think we use into after movement verbs.

3) that or which - should I write the comma?

4) Mary did. Can Mary do a book?

Thank you in advance
