Subject or Object Pronoun?

Which is correct? 1. "He just stood there, listening to my friend and I talk."

2. "He just stood there, listening to my friend and me talk."

3. "He just stood there, listening to me and my friend talk."

However, doesn't "my friend and me" sound rather stuffy? I feel that "me and my friend" has a smoother "flow" to it. Nevertheless, grammatically, "my friend and me" is correct, right?

It is polite, not stuffy, to list yourself last. Putting yourself first is uncouth.
