Subject and Predicate



I have a test coming up and found this and answered them but don't know if i did them right. will some one check me and tell me what i am doing wrong.

Draw a line between the complete subject and the complete predicate in each sentence below. On the first line, write SS for a simple subject or CS for a compound subject. On the second line, write SP for a simple predicate or CP for a compound predicate.

1. SS CP Steve/ washed and waxed his car.

2. CS SP Steve’s sister and brother helped / him polish the chrome.

3. SS SP The sky-blue car / shone in the sun.

4. SS SP Steve/ keeps his car in good condition.

5. CS SP Steve and his neighbor work / on the car every weekend.
