Sub clause question

Though is a sub clause so in:

Thought our normal investigations it has been identified that your book order was duplicate on the 10/06/11.



Should there be a comma after investigations as though is a sub conjunction?



What about otherwise? I.e.

Please ensure you leave a key under the mat, otherwise we won’t be able to let ourselves in.



Should there be a comma after mat? If so why?

Through our normal investigations, it has been identified that your book order was duplicated on 10/June/11 (October 6, 2011?).

Should there be a comma after investigations as through is a sub conjunction?-- Yes, it makes the structure clearer. But the sentence is rather stilted and

In England we write the day, month then year. So 10/06/11 is the 10th of June 2011. We would write October 6th 2011 as 06/10/11.

The problem, DMilton, is that not everyone does that and not everyone is from England. That is why it is always potentially confusing and why it is always better to abbreviate the month with letters instead of numbers. That way, you can never be wrong and always be clear.
