There are plenty of English language magazines online, for example New Scientist at [url="http://www.newscientist.com"][/url]. I would call that "notable".

you could read some of the best British journalism from a host of writers at the Guardian Website. Use the search facility to trawl their archives for a topic which interests you, you will find plenty I am sure
