Hi
Is this sentence fully natural?
The new house we shifted in was stuffy and the ventilation was very poor.
Thanks,
Tom
I would say (as a non-native) The new house we moved into was stuffy and ventilation was very poor. stuffy already suggests that the house has poor ventilation so perhaps you can leave ventilation was very poor out. I understand that shift is commonly used instead of move in Indian English, but you won't find this use of shift in either BrE or AmE.
