Stuffed/full

Hi,
What is the difference between these two sentences? When would you use one rather than the other?
1. I'm stuffed.
2. I'm full.

Thank you.

To me, "stuffed" means you are beyond "full", fuller than 'just full'.

Hi,
Does 'stuffed' sound natural as in
"The kids still weren't stuffed, so I gave them an ice cream each."?

Thanks!

Hi canadian45,

Thank you for your reply again.
According to the Free Online Dictionary, the definition of 'full' is "having an appetite completely satisfied, especially for food or drink."
And according to another online dictionary, "full" means "having eaten so much food that you cannot eat any more."

Could you please tell me which is more correct?

Hi canadian45,

So, full expresses that you can eat more with satisfaction and stuffed means that having eaten so much food that you cannot eat any more?

Thanks!

So, does full express that you can eat more with satisfaction You can eat at least some more without signicant discomfort. and stuffed means that having eaten so much food that you cannot eat any more? At least you are at or near the point of discomfort and vomitting.
It's a progression from full to fuller and fuller and eventually to being stuffed
