Studying English and reading books (is / are) my hobbies

I know that gerunds is considered as a singular and then I was wondering if more than two gerund phrases function as a subject like Studying English and reading books (is / are) my hobbies. Which verb is suitable in this case?

Thank you so much as usual in advance!
