Studying and Student life

Are you thinking about studying abroad? Santiago college can be

the ideal next step in your education.

Methods of study

We believe that we offer a course to suit everyone's needs.
We offer an unrivalled range of excellent courses for both adults and juniors. Years of experience and the strength of our teaching staff mean that you can expect a quality learning experience.

Our lessons are lively and full of participation, helping you to make fast progress.

In the mornings, speaking, listening, reading and writing are integrated in a carefully structured programme. In the afternoons, you choose a Study Option which focuses on developing particular language skills (e.g. Listening and Pronunciation, Communication Skills, Grammar, Vocabulary), or you may choose Business English Skills or an examination course.

All schools have a maximum class size of 12, and average class sizes are even lower. Our class sizes mean teachers can give you the attention you need to make good progress.

Suitable types of accommodation

We know how important your accommodation is, and so we offer a wide choice. Many students choose homestay - living with local people in their own home. You can have a single room, with somewhere to study. This accommodation provides an ideal opportunity to practise English outside class.

Self-catering or residential accommodation is also available.

Alternatively, we can arrange hotel accommodation.

Social life

On all our courses, there are social activities for everyone – from sport and music to shopping and cultural excursions. Typical activities include city tours, beach picnics and excursions to local places of interest. There is a charge for some social and activity programme events.

We look forward to welcoming you to Santiago college.
