Study tips and spelling tricks... contest!!
Hello,
Please note a free contest that is available to everbody - English Language teachers and students.
If you have a mnemonic/memory aid that has helped you remember the spelling or meaning of a certain word, please share it with the eSpindle community by sending an email to (Email Removed). Winners will be drawn on June 30th, and all entries have equal chances to win (please visit http://www.espindle.com/general/fix adv.php for more info)
We are a new educational non-profit organization and have created a comprehensive English Spelling tutor (www.espindle.org). This website creates custom learning quizzes based on a student's goals, skills and personal "problem words".
We also have an extensive selection sharing word roots, English language fun facts and study tips from our "virtual tutor" Shirley Brainy.
While a lot of the content is free, the customized tutoring requires a low annual membership fee. Please also visit

I had a look at your site out of interest and tried the practice test. It seems to be very nicely done. Well done! My only comments are that the Submit button didn't work on the practice test (I am surfing using Safari on an iMac; all the other buttons worked fine!), and also that the definitions and examples might be a bit beyond students at lower levels (grades 4-6), though I do

Our goal was to be compatible with IE and Netscape in PC and Mac environment, but this already is quite an ambitious development goal ;-)
