Study programme vs field of study

Hello!

Can you tell me what the difference is between "study programme/program" and "a field of study", please?

Suppose I'd like to study psychology at university, is psychology "a study programme" or "a field of study"?

And if I want to specialise in clinical psychology, what would it be? Speciality/specialisation? (I want to keep British terminology).

Thank you
