Study Plan

Hello everyone. My Name is Eka Wanda. I plan to apply KGSP Scholarship for my master degree. The following essay is my study plan. I need your suggestion about this writing. Hopefully you can help me. Thank you very much.

STUDY PLAN

I am applying for International Relations Major in Seoul national university and Silla University and also practical science and diplomacy in Chungnam National University. I have searched information about these three universities and they are good reputation and good education system. As regards International Relation or practical science and diplomacy, I decide to apply this course because I have big attention for the the issues in the world, such as the relation and the communication between countries or global organisations. This course is very important to learn for understanding and explaining the cases in the world based on several existing paradigms, starting from politic, economic and others. Beside, it is also important to evaluate many anomalies that occurs in this modern era.

In my previous major, English Literature, i learnt about language and the literature. I had applied linguistic course that give a basic knowledge about language and its aplicate in the society. I also learnt Cross Culture Understanding (CCU). This course is learning about the different culture in many places in the world that help us to understand how to communicate with other people from the different place. I also studied about Cultural Studies that focused on the improvement and the changes cultural in the world.

For the master program, i will conduct a research concerning about the impact of historical conflict from the cold war period for the recently corporation between the countries. This research appears because there are several historical problems from the cold war that is not finish yet until now.

I found many studies about the cold war period, but i did not obtain the research about the impact of the historical conflict for the recent corporation. The first research that i have red, was the the research about the impact of the economically development after the cold war, and the second is the Comfort women issue that always be the problem between south Korea and Japan. From these study, i acquaire many information about the cold war. But these research especially about the comfort women is too specific for just one issue. The research that i wii conduct, is hoped can be a solution and suggestion for the future corporation between countries.

The research will using qualitative research. I will gather several information about the problems between countries at that time and divide into two categories that are; first is the past conflict that have cleared between the two included countries, second is the past conflict that is not clearing yet. After that, i will compare the corporation such as in the field of economic politic and education between the two categories and try to find is there a difference impact between them
