Study in UK

I am the beginner to learn english. I am struggling to learn english.I am intended to further my study in dietetics/nutrition. i would like to survey the places in UK. May i know, which place has the hardest slang/accent and which place use proper english (with little accent) because that will b a big barrier for me to learn. =)
