Study alone or study with group
Study habit is a very individual thing. Some people like to study alone, while others prefer to study with friends. Though studying with friends has its advantages but I would rather to study alone.
When you study alone that means you are studying in an environment without distraction. Some subjects which are hard –handle such as math, physic… they require highly-concentrate which can be only gained by studying alone. It also helps you understand knowledge and remember them better.
What is more, studying alone has another advantage that studying with friends doesn’t. That is force us to think. You are studying by yourself without partner to turn to for help. At that time, you must use your own knowledge. That’s why you have to think by yourself and try hard as best as you can to solve the problem. This opportunity will improve your ability to deal with problems by yourself in every situation.
Obviously, studying with friends helps us to solve problem faster and easier. But it won’t help much when you study with people who don’t concentrate. They tend to talk about things which are out of the topic of the discussion. Being with people who don’t want to study means you will be totally distracted. You won't here much ideas about the discussion.
In conclusions, I prefer to study alone because of those above – mentioned reasons. But whether you study alone or study with group, you must have your own reasons and it depends on your personality.

When you use "though" you don't use "but" afterwards. Also, you don't use "to" after "would rather."
