Study abroad

Can you check this for me Emotion: smile) Thank you so much!

Admittedly, a large number of school students decide to study abroad after finishing high school. Despite several drawbacks of this trend, that studying in developed countries is advantageous, providing students with more job opportunities in future

On the one hand, students going abroad may face with difficulties which badly affects their academic achievement. Cultural barriers is one of the biggest problems to those study universities overseas. They may struggle with differences in lifestyle, transportation system, style of dress between their hometown and their host countries. For example, new comers to USA are often shocked by the informality of American and they may find difficult to deal with such differences. This may result in the feeling of frustration, melancholy and even depression. Another disadvantage is expense. In addition to tuition, students studying overseas will have to pay off rent and daily cost of living, which can amount to a formidable expense. Thus, most students may spend too much time on doing part time jobs, inattentive at class and fall behind with their study

On the other hand, studying in developed nations has numerous plus points. In these countries, students have chances to be exposed to better education system, especially advanced learning methods. Compared to poorer countries with lack of national budget on education leading to outdated learning materials, developed nations provide new ways of learning to their students. They also give learners more hands-on experiences and encourage autonomous learning, which effectively develop their abilities. Moreover, in today’s competitive job market, those studying in these universities will get more job opportunities as recruiters may value practical experiences they have during their studies.

In conclusion, although studying abroad is disadvantageous to some extent, I believe that students should be given more chances to study in developed countries due to their modern education system
