The research shows that numerous youngsters nowadays fancy using social media to communicate with other people. In this essay, I will discuss two problems that make young people less likely to meet people in real life and two solutions to make teenagers like to hang out and meet more people.
To begin with, one of the most significant reasons that teenagers dislike spending more time away from home is the carelessness of schools and parents. For example, if the students are examined too much, they will become exhausted and bored. That is why they need to find solutions to entertain, and the fastest way is by using social networking sites, as they do not have any energy to hang out. In my opinion, schools and families should take care more of their children and organize more extra-curriculars or vacations to help the teenagers relax and realize the advantages they would have if they went out.
Furthermore, because parents and schools do not understand what teenagers want, they will allow their children to go astray, especially if they spend a lot of time on social networking sites and do not make any real-life friends. For instance, when parents do not understand what their teenagers want, they will make the children do what they want. Consequently, teenagers, whose age is stubborn, will be wayward and love to share their status on the internet. They will hate going out and can be depressed owing to the fact that no one understands them. So, the parents should be friends and share with their teenagers. Not only should parents be friends, but schools should also create more clubs to find out what the young want and improve their skills. As a result, the youngsters will be open-minded in their communication.
In conclusion, using social media is not bad. However, it needs to be controlled by teenagers. But if we want teenagers to spend less time on the internet, we should spend more time with them.
