Thank you.

I want to mention private tution name. So can I say like this, "I took "****" for my `X' class." or I had tuition in "****" for my `X' class in `subject X'. [Note : **** is the institution (private tution) name]

On the side note : Can I say, "I studied at Oxford university"; or "I studied in Oxford university"?

Hi,

On the side note : Can I say, "I studied at Oxford university"; or "I studied in Oxford university"?

Say 'at'.

BYW, "took tuition is" is not used in the U.S. We would say "I was tutored in."

If you want to mention the institution's name (but I don't consider that private tuition?) you'll have to work it in as 'at X'.

Here is my try again :

I took tution at "***" for my "XX" class.

I had tution at "***" in subject "***" for my "XX" class.

Now are they correct?

Hi,

Here is my try again :

I took tution at "***" for my "***" class.

I had tution at "***" in subject "***" for my "***" class.

Now are they correct?

In my experience, 'tuition' is just used in this way when speaking of private tuition
