These days, people have different choices of collecting information to assist for their study. While I accept that it is easy for pupils to get data from the Internet,I would argue that libraries still play an important role for students' life.
It is true that finding out statistics online is very quick and convenient.Firstly, there are various sources of information on the Internet, which allows users exchange each other by updating and getting information. For instance, when one wants to know what fomulas of maths subject are ,he just need to access on Google and click a mouse ,within several seconds ,there would show a huge number of searching results.Additionally, with development of currently modern technology, since most colleges or universities ultilise online websites to connect with their students. As the result, pupils can receive any notifications from their schools without going to the campus.
However,I believe that libraries are essential for people in certain way.Since knowledge of books often contain data more exactly than any sources. This is because they are always editef and check carefully before being published in public places. For instance,in my university, lecturers and profesionals usually encourage us in gathering statistics from the specialized hardbacks rather than the scattered information online. What is more, the school library provides for learners with a quiet study space, which is an ideal environment helps pupils concentrate on reading or studying without distraction.Take me as an example,I can just focus on my work when being in a quiet area,so I always choose my school library as a place to read books or do research the assignments.
In conclusion, although there are undeniable advantages of getting information on the Internet,I disagree that libraries are no longer essential .
