Marouane, I think here you'll have to have a go at describing

a) your ideal teacher-student relationship, and

b) the difference between the ideal relationship and the one which most often exists

c) the lines that are drawn between teacher and student - how they should conduct themselves, how far they can let friendship transcend the age and status barrier

d) a conclusion - basically a summary of whatever you've written in the whole essay.

And Marouane, YoHf is right. We want your ideas in there, not mine.

To elaborate - what kind of relationship do you want with your students/teachers? Do you want a dominant teacher who'd lay down the law, teach and get out as soon as the bell rings, or someone who would be a friend to his/her students, help them out with work in extra time, and discuss personal things with them?

At what point would you lay down the law? Would you aim at academic excellence, or all-round training and development? Describe your views on teacher-student relationships, in the format I described above.

Argh...anything will bug me after the day I've had today. Pretty upsetting, to have one of your teachers tell the whole staff room that you've been slandering your best friend(who, incidentally, was the school head girl before you), yes?

I roasted said teacher, and her son from whom she is supposed to have obtained said information. Thank heaven one of the teachers stood up for me, else I would never have found out about this. My main problem is that my best friend, an ex-student, is being slandered in absence.

So, yeah, I guess my sense of humour is a bit off today.
