Student Life

I used to yearn to go camping. Living outdoors like pioneers on the frontier seemed cool. Well, nothing could be further from the truth. Last summer my family camped in a remote place. You would need radar to find it. My sister loved it there but I was miserable. Each day posed a new hurdle. The first night I nearly froze, and I'd left my parka at home. The next day rain leaked into our tent. And I had to discard my soaked paperback. Then I saw a huge slug squirm by. to my sister's scorn, never again did I let my bare feet touch the earth. I tried in earnes to enjoy myself, but rain and slugs just aren't in my formula for fun. I'll take the urban life any day.
