Struggle with perfectionism

Hello everybody.

I am not sure whether I got the meaning of the following or not. Would you please help me?

I know my daughter. She struggles with her perfectionism at times and she can't accept the slightest criticism.

Does it mean she is in trouble since she is perfectionist or she fights with her perfectionism?

Thanks so much for the help ??.
