Structure Of "X Contains Little Honey, But Much Sugar"

This contains little honey, but much sugar.

My book says:

This contains little (that is) honey, but much (that is) sugar.

"little" and "much" is the object of contains.

But to me, "honey" and "sugar" is the object of contains, "little" and "much" being determiners.

Was I wrong?
