Structure and meaning

Hi~ I don't understand the structure and meaning of the last sentence, esp. the underlined part.

Could you look at that and give some advice? Thank you~!

In contemporary classrooms, the heart of personalized learning stays much the same; learning is

  • owned by the student (student as the heart, teacher as the coach or adviser);
  • interdisciplinary in nature; and
  • grounded in the exploration of authentic and meaningful problems, challenges, and ideas that have significance to the broader world.

While the original idea has become modernized, especially due to the advent of technology, the challenge of doing this in schools remains quite daunting. This is a fundamental design challenge that requires dedicated,

risk-tolerant, intelligent, compassionate educators to reimagine schools in such a way as to deepen who we are as a society.

" The words, "that the original paradigm of personalized learning remains the same, even in this era of high technology, with the result that technology, combined with the time-tested elements of learning, will function so", are omitted and understood from the context.
