Struck / stricken

Correct to all?


1. Lightning 'struck' the house.

2. Lightning 'had struck' the house before we went to the mall.

3. The judge said that it would be 'stricken' (not 'struck') from the record.

4. She was stricken 'by' (or 'with') the illness in late January.

5. She was 'stricken with' remorse.

6. He was 'stricken by' guilt.

7. The illness 'struck' her in late January.
