Strip bare breeze or sail

Hi,

1) I've been trying to think of a synonym for 'stripped bare' in the context of empty shelves, but I drew a blank. Could you help me out?

2) When I want to say that we made our way through the supermarket really quickly, are there perhaps any set phrases you use?

I came up with 'sail and breeze through'.

"We sure did sail through the supermarket today."

"I didn't expect us to breeze through the supermarket like that."

Thank you.
