STRIP

Could you tell me which is the correct answer?

We stripped OFF/ASIDE/OUT/BACK the entire ground floor to make redecorating easier.

My guess is stripped out but I haven't found it in the dictionary. I can just find strip off.

Hi, I guess 'out' is the answer they are looking for, but I'd prefer something like 'we took out all the furniture from the entire ground floor'. Or 'we cleared it'. 'We stripped out the floor' sounds to me like you removed the actual floor itself (the floorboards).
