Strike and All in a day's work

A Guy robbed a girl and got caught. Two policemen are discussing his destiny:

A guy with two strikes looking at some serious jail time. All in a day’s work.

I can't understand what it means. Could you help me. Thank you.

Some countries, I believe particularly the USA, have a "3 strikes" rule. If you're arrested twice and convicted but not necessarily imprisoned, if you are then arrested a third time, you go to prison.

I think the UK was considering the same kind of rule.
