Stretching in this context

I saw a job advert today. It contained the following text: "If you're looking for something more stretching..."

Is "stretching" functioning as an adjective?

Is the advertiser basically saying: "If you're looking for something that will allow you to apply all your skills and experience..."?

Thanks

The job will make you use all your skills/abilities/intelligence etc. I usually hear the verb stretch in this sense. The adjective does seem unusual to me.

Well I googled "a stretching role" and found the phrase in some newspaper reports, so I guess the adjective form is correct.
