Stretching

Hi

I'd like to ask about training technique described on p.12 of this book http://www.scribd.com/doc/13749359/Stretching-Anatomy because it's unclear to me.

In the picture they are showing the left shoulder. I understand that "with the doorjamb in line with the right shoulder" means that the right shoulder (not showed in the picture) should be, maybe touching the doorjamb, or maybe the right arm should be placed parallely to the doorjamb. I really do not get it.

"Bring the left arm across ..." - to me it means "Lift the left arm to the level of the shoulder". "Toward the right shoulder" - how's that possible. I can't see it in the picture!

Do you understand these instructions? In my view, the pictures are not too good!!!

I think it's right leg.

The exercise is called: Shoulder Extensor, Adductor, and Retractor Stretch and is showed on page 12 of this book.

Yes, right leg. I was never very good at telling my right from my left.
