Stretch your hands or arms?

Hi,

Now I am teaching my kid to wash his hands.

Letting him stand next to the wash basin, I say to him, "Stretch your hands" or "Stretch your arms."

My intention is to let him push his arms forward and open his hands.

Which one is correct?

Is "Reach out your hands" correct?

Thank you in advance.
