Stressed vs. Unstressed Syllables

I need some help with figuring out the stresses for a poem I'm writing for my 11th grade English class... I'm just going to put the words in.

The man was at the downtown restaurant
To pick up food for his young, pregnant wife
who was craving more than a baked croissant
To guard his relatively trivial life
He also had her transition glasses
So she wouldn't lose them before her class

Also, if a line isn't exactly 10 syllables, I think my teacher might give me a zero...

You can find the stress patterns of multisyllabic words in any dictionary. I'll put the stressed syllables in bold and give the syllable count. The man was at the downtown rest aurant 9 or 10 (restaurant can be pronounced 'restront') To pick up food for his young , preg nant wife 10 who was crav ing more than a baked crois sant 10 To guard his rel a tiv ely triv ial life 10 or 11 (trivial can be pronounced with 3 syllables 'tri-vee-al') He al so had her tran sit ion glass es 10 So she would n't lose them be fore her class 10 CJ
